Scott has also worked for the Vogue group and many other publications worldwide.
His fine art photographic work has been collected Internationally by the Biblitheque Nationale de Paris and here at home by the New York Libraries Permanent collection of prints and photographs. Scott has developed innovative techniques in photography that have since been widely adopted. Tugel is also an accomplished filmmaker as well with 10 successful motorsports focused films distributed on the international market.
In 1991, Scott took on a collaborative project titled “Restorations”. Working with major designers, throughout the fashion world, Scott created sixty final images contrasting women against large monumental objects and landscapes to suggest the issues facing our society.” This work was shown originally with the Eastman Kodak Professional Imaging Department of New York City. This body of work has also been exhibited at the Kodak Photo Salon in Tokyo and the BBDO Advertising Agency Gallery in NYC.
One of these images, “Towers of Power”, is especially profound at this ten year anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy. This image is both a haunting and inspiring photograph of a woman positioned between the Twin Towers with fists rising and a plane headed towards the towers. Ten years previous to the 9-11 incident, almost to the day, this powerful and iconic photograph was taken. The historical significance at the time that this photograph was created, could not be known. The expression of the model wearing the famous Donna Karan bodysuit, positioned between the towers, with plane overhead, foreshadows the tragedy that was to take place.
